ABOUT ME

Staying active is not meant to be a torturous endeavour. There may be a sore muscle or two along the way, but I believe getting fit should be enjoyed, not dreaded. I get to change lives for a living, which is not only a privilege but incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.

As a fully qualified and accredited trainer, I focus on helping you build a strong resilient body and mind through building muscle and strength..

I found a passion for strength training after I had my children in 2015. Suffering from various aches and pains after a twin pregnancy, C-section, and being several stone over weight, I embarked on my journey to get my body back. I didn't expect to get so many benefits in other  areas of my life; too, my mind feels stronger, my muscles denser and I feel overall much better now than I did 10 years before!

I began to read up on strength training, buying books, reading blogs and articles and listening to podcasts.  Not only did I feel inspired, but I also discovered the many benefits strength training has on healthy ageing and your overall mortality.

Engaging in strength training as you age is crucial for maintaining muscle mass, bone density, and overall functional independence. It enhances balance, reduces the risk of injuries, and improves daily activities, ensuring a higher quality of life in later years.
